Aquarium Ornament

 

Aquarium ornaments add to the beauty of your aquarium. It should be non-toxic and inert. It should add character and comfort to your aquarium. Fishes will enjoy and feel relieved to swim around, hide under, and hide inside these decorations. An ornament should not give stress to the fishes or frighten them.

These days a plethora of intricate cute themed decorations are available in the market. These include corals, invertebrate aquarium decorations, skulls, sunken wrecks, planes, roots, rocks and tree stumps, fun ornaments, small colored shiny pearls and pebbles, Greek ruins, plastic and silk aquarium plants, Egyptian decorations, colored gravel, natural gravel,etc., just to name a few. In most of the commonly available ornaments the material used is polyester resin. Ceramic fired clay ornaments are also available in the markets. Natural decorations like wooden logs, slate pieces, various natural pearls and pebbles are hard to find these days.
